Newspaper Report - William Begg

Second-Lieut. W. Begg, Black Watch, only son of Mrs. Begg, Duke Street, Brechin, is reporting missing. He is 27 years of age, and was a sergeant in the Territorials at the outbreak of war. He went out with the first Territorial draft, and shortly afterwards got a commission.
A telegram received states that he has been missing since 13th November. Lieut. Begg served his apprenticeship with the late Mr. James Craig, town clerk, Brechin, and later studied for the position of a solicitor with the firm of Lindsay & Howe, Edinburgh, when called up.
