Mason, of Hull; born Wyton, Hull, East Yorkshire, 12 May, 1891; educated Sproatley Endowed School; was for somo time in the Halifax Territorials; went to Australia 06 June, 1913; joined the Australian Imperial Force at Melbourne on the outbreak of war and was wounded in the left arm at the landing at Suvla Bay on 25 April 1915. He was invalided to Malta, but returned to the firing line about the end of July, and was killed in action at the Dardanelles, 9-10 Aug., 1915; umn.

Jackson. superintenden registrar, of 5, Oakvillas, Ferriby-road, Hessle, would welcome any information respecting his son, Lance Corporal Frederick ("Peter") Jackson, East Yorkshire Regiment, reported missing in France on May 3rd. Prior to enlistment he was cashier at the Halifax Commercial Bank, Hull, and joined up with a local company at the end of August, 1914.
