The family obviously lived in New York for some years because a few of the children were born in New York.

Her daughter Mary is a secret. The name is mentioned as Keasis or Keasy in the census. Not very much can be found about her.
A Mary Altman appears in the US Census of 1880. She lived with a Cooper family and is mentioned as servant. They all lived in Effingham, Illinois, USA.
The following tells about a Mary Altmann but it's not sure if she is "our" Mary Altmann.
