A. Barron, Private, West Yorkshire Regiment
He volunteered in October 1915, and on completing his training was drafted to France. Whilst overseas he toook part in many engagements, including those on the Somme, at Ypres and Cambrai, where he was wounded and invalided home. He was demobilised in April 1919, and holds the General Service and Victory Medals.

A. Barron, Sapper, Royal Engineers
He joined in March 1916, and in tthe following December proceeded tto the Western Front. There he was engaged with the Royal Engineers in many sectoors, includiing those of Ypres, Passchendaele Wood, and was wounded in action at Cambrai. He was demobilised in August 1919, and holds the General Service and Victory Medals.

C. Barron, Private, 1th Cheshire Regiment
He volunteered in November 1914, and after a period of training proceeded to the Western Front, where he took part in many engagements, including those at Ypres, Armentiéres, La Bassée, Lens and the Somme. He was demobilised in February 1919, and holds the 1914-15 Star, and the General Service and Victory Medals.

D. Barron, Sapper, Royal Engineers
He joined the Army in 1907, and at the outbreak of war in August 1914 was immediately drafted to France. There he took part in the Battle of Mons, Ypres, and the final Advance of 1918, and was wounded in action. He also helped to quell the Irish Rebellion in 1916. He was discharged in April 1919, and holds the Mons Star, and the General Service and Victory Medals.
