John and Hannah Brown
The American Weekly Mercury, 04 October 1733.
John BROWN Will No Pay Any Debts of His Wife, Hannah BROWN.

Whereas Hannah, the pretended wife of John BROWN, of Upper Freehold in Monmouth County, New Jersey, Schoolmaster, hath not only been guilty of being got with child by another man, but has taken up great and unnecessary quantities of goods, with a design to ruin me. These are therefore to forewarn all persons not to trust her, the said Hannah, on my account, for I hereby declare that from hence forward I will pay none of her contracts. John BROWN
