Isaac Coombe was born in Jacobstow, Cornwall, England, on 24 December 1804. His parent were William and Elizabeth Coombe, nee Knight. He was married to Mary Amelia Parsons Bray and the couple had following children: Ann Joyce Bray (b. 1835), Henry James (1837-1914), John (b. 1840), Elizabeth (b. 1841) and Mary Grace (1855-1922). The family loived at different places but all in Cornwall: St. Gennys (Census 1841), Minster (Census 1851) and Forrabury (Census 1861). Isaac Coombe died on 06 February 1884.
