Thomas Hulkes Bingham Day was born in Frindsbury, Kent, England on 02 January 1855. His parents were Thomas Hermitage Day and Emma Day. He was married to Katharine Margaret Watts in Saharanpore, Bengal, India on 25 March 1884 and died on 11 April 1917. He was buried in the churchyard of St. Aldhelm in Bishopstrow, Wiltshire, England.
