Walked into the water
The body of Mr. C. P. Finlay, jun., stockbroker, Edinburgh, was found this morning near the bathing ground at St. Andrew's. The deceased left the Royal and Ancient Golf Clubhouse on Wednesday night, and it is supposed he walked into the water in the excessive darkness.

Charles Patrick Finlay was born in Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland on 30 March 1871. His parenst were Charles Patrick and Anne Arabella Finlay, nee Stewart. His parents were married in Dull, Perth, Scotland on 15 January 1861.
