Mr. John Henry Gerry, aged 83, of Newquay, who passed away at the residence of his sister, Mrs. Bolwell, of 44, Tower-road, Newquay, was buried at Newquay on Saturday. Mr. Gerry was well known in Newquay. He carried on a shipbuilding business at Cattedown, Plymouth, for many years.
Rev. W. T. Price officiated.
Mourners were Mr. John Gerry, son; Messrs. Jack and Donald Gerry, grandsons; Messrs. J. Hubber, C. C. Gerry, W. Gerry, Cyril and Leslie Hubber, and J. Macglenion, nephews; Mr. H. Reynolds, cousin.
