Beatrice Ellen Leefe was born in Sitabuldi, Bengal, India on 10 November 1889 and was baptised on 07 December 1889. Her parents were Charles Octavius Leefe (1855-1897) and Josephine Arabella Leefe (1865-1945). Her marriage to Barnardiston E. B. Shaw was registered in Wandsworth, London, England during the fourth quarter of 1924.
