At 162, Sauchuehall Street, Glasgow, on the 29th ultimo, by the Rev. William Arnott, the Rev. John McCallum, Free Church, Kinkardine, to Margaret, eldest daughter of James Dunlop, Esq., Campbeltown.
John McCallum was born at Killean, Argyll, Scotland about 1820. He was baptised in Glenorchy and Inishail, Argyll, Scotland on 04 November 1820. His parents were Duncan and Mary McCallum. In the 1841 Scotland Census is Angus MacCallum mentioned as father. He was married to Margaret Dunlop in Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland on 29 November 1859. Following children are known: Duncan William (b. 1860), James Alexander (b. 1863), Margaret (b. 1864), Catherine (B. 1866), and Agnes May (b. 1868)
Margaret Dunlop was born at Campbelltown, Argyleshire, Scotland 07 July 1829 and baptised on 09 July 1829. Her parents were James and Margaret Dunlop, nee Harvey. |
