the earliest and most intimate
friends of John McDonald
of Belmore and Torlochan
in affectionate remembrance of
his many excellent qualities
and the noble example of
his manly and blameless life.
He died at St. Leonards Windsor
17th June 1891, aged 40 years
and rests in Clewer Churchyard.
The McDonald family grave in Glasgow Necropolis, Glasgow, Glasgow City, Scotland.

In memory of John McDonald died 20 May 1860, aged 58 years • Margaret Kerr, his wife, died 31 March 1900, aged 90 years and their children James Kerr, died 4 Aug 1859, aged 20 years • Alexander, died 20 March 1869, aged 31 years • Katherine, died 20 April 1873, aged 31 years • Henry Kerr, died 25 June 1880, aged 27 years • John, died 17 June 1891, aged 40 years, buried at Clewer Windsor • Jane Kerr, died 13 September 1919, aged 83 years.

John Alexander McDonald was born in Gowan, Glasgow City, Scotland on 31 December 1850.
