Cornelius John Pentecost was born in Sithney, Cornwall, England on 05 March 1861. His parents were James Rogers Pentecost and Anne Pentecost, nee Thomas. He was married to Mary Elizabeth Thomas in Illogan, Cornwall, England on 26 May 1883. The family was aboard the ship "Abyssinia" and arrived New York on 08 October 1885. He died in Centennial, Houghton County, Michigan, USA on 05 February 1916 and was buried in the Lake View Cemetery, Houghton County, Michigan, USA.

Mary Elizabeth Thomas was born on 30 November 1863 in England (Death Certificate). Her parents were John and Mary A. Thomas, nee Crage. She died in Laurium, Houghton, Michigan, USA on 12 February 1917.

John Thomas Pentecost was born on 01 June 1885 in England. He was married to Mabel Richards in Centennial, Houghton, Michigan, USA on 22 December 1906. He died in Detroit, Wayne, Michigan, USA on 12 May 1940.
