Marjorie Pigeon was born in Hampstead, Middlesex, England on 28 September 1885. Her parents were Henry and Edith Marion Pigeon, nee Barnes. She appears in the Census of 1901 as pupil of the Roedean School in Rottingdean, Brighton, Sussex, England. Her marriage to Robert Stewart Roy was registered in St George Hanover Square, London, England during the second quarter of 1912. She resided with her son Robert James Roy at Coombe, Woking, Surrey, England in 1939. She was a widow.
