William Robbins was born in Kingswood, Wiltshire, England on 14 August 1811 and baptised in Kingswood, Wiltshire, England on 22 September 1811. His parents were William Robbins (1787-1860) and Elizabeth Robbins, nee Hale (1788-1859). He was married to Ann Sheerman (1813-1878) in Thornbury, Gloucestershire, England on 14 April 1833. Following children of the couple are known: William (1834-1878), George (1835-1901), Elizabeth (born 1837), Daniel (1842-1918), Martha (1848-1899), and Anne (1855-1919). After the death of Ann Sheerman was he married to Mary Morgan (1810-1889) in Nantyglo, Monmouthshire, Wales on 31 March 1880. He died in Aberystruth, Bedwelty, Monmouthshire, Wales in 1892. |
