Robert Tarraway, 16 years old at this time, was a member of the crew (boy) on the 1st class training ship "Ganges".
The ship was moored in Falmouth Harbour.
Robert Tarraway was born in Falmouth.

who died on Tuesday 14 August 1917. Aged 41 years.
Son of Harry Tarraway; husband of Lillie Tarraway, of 31, Blight's Row, Redruth, Cornwall.
Cemetery: Plymouth Naval Memorial, Devon, United Kingdom

1895: Sureties on the Letter of Administration for Joseph Medlin,
innkeeper of Falmouth, were:
George Tarraway, Petty Officer in her Majesty's Royal Navy; both of Devonport.
Remark: George was aged 33 in 1901, born in Falmouth and a Petty Officer IC1 (sic).

It's possible that Mary Tarraway was present at Joseph Medlin daughter's birth
and could possibly be his sister and the wife of George Tarraway.
In 1891 Mary was living at 138 Woodlane Terrace, Falmouth as a servant.
