Erected in memory of
George, son of David and Mary
Story of Know, who was a planter,
thirteen years in the Island of Jamaica,
and died May 18th 1779 and was
buried there aged 36 years.
Also of
David, son of the said David and
Mary Story, who was Surgeon in
Greenwich Hospital eight years,
and died there Feby 7th 1784, aged
37 years. His corpse was ???ed
and interred here in ???
coffin(?). |

David Story was baptised in Kirk Andrews upon Esk, Cumberland, England on 23 June 1747. |
