John Tegwyn Herbert Howell Williams,
Private, 24143355, The Royal Regiment of Wales.

John was born on 13 June 1950 at Cwmann. He served with the Welch Regiment, which later merged with the South Wales Borderers, to become the Royal Regiment of Wales. John was killed during a gun battle with IRA terrorists in Alliance Avenue, Ardoyne, Belfast on 14 July 1972, aged 22. His body was brought home for burial in Brondeifi Chapel, Lampeter.
