Diese Stätte sei
ein Mal des Gedenkens:
Vergesst die Millionen
deutscher Männer und
Frauen nicht, die in zwei
Weltkriegen ihr Leben gaben.

Ein Mal der Mahnung:
Denkt an die abgetrennten
deutschen Gebiete.
Auch ihnen galt
dieser Opfergang.

Ein Mal des Trostes:
Blicket auf zu Gott!
In seiner Hand stehen
Lebende und Tote für
Zeit und Ewigkeit.

Aus dem Tode komme das Leben
wachse die Liebe, werde der Frieden.
Inscription WW I and WW II This place should be
a sign of remembrance:
Don't forget the million of
German men and women,
who lay down their live in
two World Wars.

A sign of admonition:
Think of the seperated
German territories.
For also them
was this sacrifice.

A sign of comfort:
Look up to God!
In his hand are
the living and the dead
for time and eternity.

From death comes life.
May grow the love and the peace.
