Emma Davis Pearce (born 19 January 1862) was baptised in the Bible Christian Chapel in Newquay, Cornwall, England on 19 March 1862. Her parents were Charles and Sarah Pearce. She was married to William Thomas Cottrell in the Church of St. John the Baptist in Bedminster, Somerset, England on 05 August 1886. Eight children of the couple are known: William Charles (born 1887), Reginald John (1890-1954), Joseph Henry ((born 1893), Sarah Jane (1894-1969), Thomas (born 1897), Frederick Donald (born 1902), Florence A. (1902-1982), and Edward (1902-1992). She died in Chicago, Cook, Illinois, United States on 04 June 1948 and was buried in the Memorial Park in Skokie, Illinois, USA on 07 June 1948. She resided at 4601, North Malden Street.

TRAP-SHOOTING
Passengers interested in trap-shooting may avail themselves of the installation provided for the World Cruise of the "Belgenland" and which has been retained on the ship.
