89 Boro, L. I. Soldiers are killed in Action.
Washington, Oct. 20 - The War Department made public today the names of 2,818 soldiers killed in action in the European and Mediterranean areas. The following 89 Brooklyn, Queens and Long Island men are included:

Yanowski, Pvt., Joseph J. - Mrs. Catherine Yanowski, mother, 233 23d St.
Yarsinske, Sgt., Henry - Mrs. Alvina Yarsinske, mother, 19 1st St.,
Garden City Park.

Middletown - Samuel Yashinsky, 75, of Cooper Rd., died Sunday in Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch.
Born in Poland, he had lived here 33 years.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Rose Yashinsky, and a daughter, Mrs. Mary Schmidt of Leonardo.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Posten Funeral Home, Atlantic Highlands, with Rev. Gordon W. Löwden, pastor of the Red Bank Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Fair View Cemetery.
