Ellison - On 8th, at 19, Dyke-street, Trimdon Colliery, Michael, beloved husband of Jane Ellison, aged 61 years. To be interred at Trimdon Grange Cemetery on Thursday, 11th; cortege leaves residence at 2 o'clock. Friends please accept this intimation.



The Times, January 19, 1943

On the 1st inst., G. A. Ellis Esq., Purser R. N. after many years suffering from a severe wound received in action with a flotilla of French gunboats off Dunkirk. The deceased was the youngest brother of Captian Ellis R. N. of Great Yarmouth and of Lieutenant Colonel Ellis C. B. Royal Marines and was greatly respected for his worth and talents by all who knew him.
