89 Boro, L. I. Soldiers are killed in Action.
Washington, Oct. 20 - The War Department made public today the names of 2,818 soldiers killed in action in the European and Mediterranean areas. The following 89 Brooklyn, Queens and Long Island men are included:

Kujawski, Pfc., Edward - Mrs. Helen M. Kujawski, mother, 21-43 48th St., Astoria.

Edward Kujawski was born about 1919 in Pennsylvania. His parents were Waclaw and Helen Kujawski. He entered the Army on 21 March 1941 and served with the 121st Infantry Regiment, 8th Infantry Division and was fallen on 15 July 1944 in France. He was interred in the Normandy American Cemetery, France. He awarded the Purple Heart.
