89 Boro, L. I. Soldiers are killed in Action.
Washington, Oct. 20 - The War Department made public today the names of 2,818 soldiers killed in action in the European and Mediterranean areas. The following 89 Brooklyn, Queens and Long Island men are included:

White, Corp., James R. - Mrs. Alice Norberg, sister, 30-35 34th St., Astoria.

James R. White was born on 23 July 1908 in New York. His sister was Alice White Norberg. He was fallen on 16 July 1944 in France and was interred in the Long Island National Cemetery, New York, on 26 April 1948.
