89 Boro, L. I. Soldiers are killed in Action.
Washington, Oct. 20 - The War Department made public today the names of 2,818 soldiers killed in action in the European and Mediterranean areas. The following 89 Brooklyn, Queens and Long Island men are included:

Gunther, Pvt., Harry - Isidore Gunther, father, 89-24 164th St., Jamaica
Gunthner, 2nd Lt., Alfred W. - Mrs. Agnes L. Gunthner, wife,
22 Locust Court, Rockville Centre.

Harry Gunther was born on 19 June 1924. His father was Isidore Gunther. He felt on 17 July 1944 and was interred in the Cypress Hills National Cemetery, Kings, New York on 28 February 1949.

Alfred W. Gunthner

Alfred William Gunthner was born on 17 October 1920 in New York. His parents were Alfred A. and Martha Gunthner. His wife was Agnes Lillian Pearsall. He felt on 21 July 1944 in Croatia and was interred in the Baltimore National Cemetery, Baltimore, Maryland.

Mr. and Mrs. Webster Pearsall of Locust avenue, Rockville Centre have announced the marriage of their daughter, Miss Agnes Lillian Pearsall to Lieutenant Alfred W. Gunthner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Gunthner of St. Albans. The wedding took place September 4, 1943 in the Church of the Little Flower at Coral Gables, Fla. The Rev. John Donaugh officiated.
